Song of the Day

The song for today is "Held" by Natalie Grant.

I woke up with the lyrics to the chorus in my head. When I looked them up I realized that versus are actually really sad. But at the same time they make a lot of sense. Sometimes I just need a reminder that when things get hard and I want to be bitter I have to realize that it's part of God's plan for my life. And that He's still there, holding me. And He promises never to leave.

The neatest thing just happened. Brent got to come home for lunch. (Have I mentioned that I'm enjoying being a "house wife" right now? I spent the morning cleaning up the apartment, which has not been done since we moved in, mostly due to lack of time.) Anyway, I just really enjoyed making him lunch and getting to see him for a little bit during his break. We've never gotten to do that before because his previous job was so far from our house. Now he's only 10 minutes away.

Well, my next feat of the day is to post some pictures from the last few weeks of my life. I'm also going to take some of the apartment complex and our apartment for some people who have been asking what it's like up here. Let me know what you think!
