Brent's grandmother, Billie Zimmerman, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2007. She spent the final weeks of her life in the care of Heartland Hospice in Cartersville, Georgia where she was given the best possible care. "Granny" was an inspiration to Brent. She loved weather, inspiring him toward the field of meteorology. Brent learned to love the Atlanta Braves partially because of Granny. As Granny played trumpet in high school, Brent found interest in it because of her. We love Granny and know that she is now having sweet communion with our Lord in heaven.
Here is the family that visited outside the Carney home. It was nice spending some time with relatives from Temple, Texas.

I am so sorry to hear about Brent's Granny. I know he will miss her but can take comfort in the fact that he'll see her again.
