Today the Lord decided to make it snow again! Yeah! So my 3-day weekend has turned into 4!
The last few days Brent and I have had lots of time to do fun stuff. I already wrote about our Weekend Getaway and hiking adventure on Sunday.
Well, yesterday we went to the Creation Museum. My neighbor at school, Alisa, was able to get us in for free because her dad works there. We spent the morning wandering through creation as God meant for it to be, in 7 days. This museum is pretty awesome in the way that it reminds us that the Bible is the way that God made it, not the scientific theories of evolution that take millions of years. However I also like how the museum does not make science out to be bad, but that God made us to question Himself. The problem is all about starting points. Are you starting with the Bible, or starting with how things seem to be by looking at them now? That is the big question.
Once we left, we went to Famous Daves for amazing sweet tea and barbeque. We ate just in the nick of time because Brent and I are not happy people without food.
With full stomachs we ventured to PetSmart to find a new, longer leash and choker chain for Wilson. Training is in order! (Ok, so we're a few years late... what can I say?) We also decided that since we are bad parents and did not get him a Christmas present, that we would get him a bed. And believe it or not, he slept on it last night... well a little anyway. I'm working on a picture of it that I'll post when I can get him to sit still long enough.
Then this morning we woke up to snow. So I'm easing into the day with hopes to eventually go to the gym and grocery store. The snow is pretty, but did not stick on the trees or anything because of the wind. But crazy enough, its warmer than it was this weekend. Into the day I go...

Okay, Melissa, this is getting ridiculous. THREE snow days? I am jealous and it doesn't matter that I have today off too. ;) And I'm not only jealous about the snow day, but about the barbeque as well. You lucky duck! :D
I can't wait to visit the Creation Museum when we make it up your way!
Enjoy your day and be careful!
Daughter just had a great discussion about Creation at her Youth Group at church last night - I bet she would love the Creation Museum!
Sounds like a great day! Wish we could get some snow down here...
