Due to a long weekend (President's Day), on Saturday Brent and I ventured to Atlanta to surprise Mary Ann with an album of family portraits Brent, Blake, and I had put together from pictures we had found of her when she was growing up. It turned out great and she really liked it!
We had a great time in Atlanta, as we always do! Our intentions were to come home mid-day yesterday, but due to delays because of horrible thunderstorms on Sunday night, we got stuck... until today. So I did not go to school today since we did not get in until after 10 am.
Being stuck definitely had its advantages. For instance, we went to go see Bucket List with the in-laws. I did not enjoy it too much because it was slow, but the story behind it was great! My father-in-law, John, loved it because of the life lessons it taught. Any of you who know him know exactly what I mean!
My favorite part of the trip was going to the gym with John on Sunday. He's pretty fit! My butt was definitely kicked! We stayed for two hours and he showed me a good majority of the machines. Even though I have been working out at home, it is aparently not enough. I have been sore since yesterday morning. Guess I'll keep working on it!
So it's back to school tomorrow. I won't mention that there is a 70% chance of cold, white precipitation for tonight...

Ya'll have really had the weather this winter, haven't you? Glad you made it home safely - maybe you'll luck out w/ another Snow Day tomorrow!

It sounds like a marvelous weekend getaway in Atlanta! If YOUR butt was kicked, I shudder to think how my butt would have felt.
