As I've been reading this book through again with my class I realize again what a wonderful writer C.S. Lewis was. I love how he had so many underlying themes within his writing that totally share the gospel and God's love with my students without them even knowing it!
The theme that keeps standing out to me in Prince Caspian is how Aslan's (God's) timing is perfect in everything. The older children are not allowed to see him... until he is ready. He does not show up for battle... until the time is right. Everything he does is thought through, just like God does for me. That's enough to reassure me to keep pursuing my faith. God has a plan for us all. He will not leave us or forsake us in our times of "battle." Even though it may not seem like the best way to victory for us, we will win!

The family is planning on seeing this movie too. I doubt we get to it this weekend. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.
Hi! So glad you're lovin' Jesus! I'm a Christian. I always love to know that other people, as far away from where I live (Glasgow) as possible, still love God.!
