Until...
Brent smelled something burning. We looked everywhere and realized the smell was coming from the crock pot.
Here's what we found in between the pot and the burner:
It was supposed to pad the pot so it did not break. I guess we forgot to take the plastic out from when we were moving. Who knows whether it is from this move or the one a year ago?

So, were ya'll able to eat the barbeque last night? And were the carpet men finished by 6?
Yes, we ate barbecue.
No, we did not have carpet last night. They did not finish until around 12:30 today. They had to come back at 8 this morning. I can't complain though. They did a great job and we get to sleep in our room tonight. Furniture is upstairs and everything, now we just have to organize and unpack boxes. Yeah for living in our house... FINALLY!
