This morning I learned a valuable lesson while biking with Brent: to keep my eyes on the trail. We went mountain biking and every time I would look over to the sides of the trail I would get scared and think I was going to fall off or hit a tree. But when I looked at the trail, I was fine, even during the scary parts.
This is how life is. We must keep our eyes on God or things seem hard. When I am in constant conversation with God, things seem to flow. The second I start over analyzing or trying to figure things out on my own, this is no longer true.
I like how our pastor worded it yesterday at the end of his sermon (about when Jesus called the demon out of the boy in Mark) when he said that we must believe without conditions. It's not "I'll believe if ____", but "I believe" period. So there's my challenge for the week.
Feel free to listen to the sermon. As of right now, it's not uploaded yet, but should be late this week under the sermon series Phenomenon. I was both challenged and inspired.

What a great lesson! I love it when God speaks so clearly.
That's a challenge so many need to take on!
It sounds like you picked exactly the right church. :)
