There's a kid who was in my class last year who had a major football accident on Sunday that formed a blood clot that had to be removed yesterday. They had to do brain surgery on him as well. He came out ok and all of the tests are showing that he's going to be back to normal before long. Please keep this family in your prayers. It's going to be a long road to recovery, but the odds are that everything will turn out for the better at this point. It will be at least 12 weeks before he gets to go back to school.
