Red River Gorge...ous!

This weekend our friends Shane and Alison came up from Houston for my long weekend break from school. Because we LOVE camping and hiking, Brent and I tried to think of the best place possible to take them when they were visiting.
This is the four of us on top of the Natural Bridge.

Can't you see the bridge in the background now? We hiked over to this other area.
Shane thinks the bridge is really not THAT big!
Brent discovered a new drink: Ale 8. The soda is made in Kentucky. We actually drove by the distributing plant on the way home. Unfortunately we did not know that they did tours at that time. It's true love!
This is on top of the Natural Bridge. If they were not smiling so hard it would almost look like they were falling off.
This was our campsite.
Some beautiful leaves
More of God's Gorgeousness!
Alison is amazed by the massiveness of the Natural Bridge.
Shane squeezing through the cut in the rocks.
We also hiked to Gray's Arch. The pictures I have do not even begin to show the massiveness of this naturally carved-out rock area. Just seeing the cutouts of these rock formations is enough to remind us of God's enormous personality. Do you want to see? Come on up for a visit and we'll go back to the gorge.

I would LOVE to come us, minus the camping. ;)

It looks like a fun weekend! God's beauty never ceases to amaze me.

I'll come with D... - we'll stay in a motel while ya'll camp. ;-)

I see pictures of all that beauty and sometimes wonder, "Why do I live HERE?"

Love the pictures. So much color. Hey, no need to send pretty leaves. A nice lady sent me a letter today with a tiny red leaf. :)
