Information Overload

On Friday I drove the 5 1/2 hours to Western North Carolina. I enjoyed stopping in Lexington for a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit, a privilege not available here in Northern Kentucky except at the airport. Amy and I met for lunch at Fuddruckers, another special meal unavailable here. Around 2:30 I went to see Mom at school, surprising her because she did not know I was in town yet.

Around 4:15 the "fun" began. I spent the weekend with Judy and Janie reading over National Board stuff. We worked until 11ish Friday night then again from 9:30 am-8pm on Saturday. We only dissected 2 of my pieces. That's how crazy this process is! There were many points I truly thought my head was going to explode, but the benefits were great! Also, I got to have Veranda's (a local tea shop) for lunch on Saturday, another treat in the food area.

Saturday night I got to see my precious Dallas for a bit. (Sorry, no pictures!) Sunday morning Mom, Dad, and I went to IHOP for breakfast. More good food! Then it was back on the road for 5 1/2 more hours.

I learned so much and have spent most of today applying it to one of the pieces. Two months until the deadline. It's going to be a crazy 2 months!

Did I mention that we had a snow day? And that there is 100% chance of snow tonight, all day tomorrow, tomorrow night, and slight chances after that until Saturday? I may be getting a lot of work done after all!

Can we have some of your snow? Just a few inches or so? Please? We'll play nicely in it!

I have no doubt that it'll be a crazy two months, but I also have no doubt that you'll rock this!

Food is one of the things I look forward to when we visit Memphis. I love to eat.

P.S. I forgot to mention this on the comment on your 25 things. I miss going with you to Beth Moore's bible study.
