Scream with me!

I'm working on making DVDs out of the awesome teaching that I've done for my National Board Certification. This is probably the most frustrating thing I've ever done in my life!!! If the cord doesn't work then the computer doesn't recognize the camera. I have stuff that is mediocre, but if I'm going for wonderful, this is the pain that I must endure.

Is this kind of like those times that you wax your legs or pluck your eyebrows (both of which I've never done) and know that the beauty at the end is worth it? I sure hope it is!

Update: We had snow, but I went to school anyway because one of the second grade teachers said she would help me figure this out. All of the videos are finished now. I am not going back to do any again! There are only 3 glitches with them:

1. the title is wrong on one- easy fix as long as the video is still saved on the computer
   
2. one of the videos goes directly into another, older one after the required 15 minutes- I'm not going to worry about it because they only watch 15 minutes anyway
3. a little girl in my class picks her nose and eats it during the first two minutes of the science video- I'm leaving it!
