Awesome Weekend!

Saturday I turned in my National Board Box! Yeah! Two dates to remember: June 10 is my test. Sometime around Thanksgiving I'll find out results. Feel free to pray for me anytime between now and Thanksgiving that I'll pass.

Sunday was a busy, wonderful, extroverted day! I loved it! It's been a while since I've had one quite like it and enjoyed every second. I really should get out more :)

First, Brent and I went to church and came home for lunch. Then we went to our friend Daniel's black belt celebration. I cannot wait until Brent gets his! The ceremony showed awesome accomplishments. It might be a while, but I'm stoked about it.

Then Brent drove to Atlanta to go see his family. Pray for Papa too. He's not doing well.

While he was driving the 7 hours down, I did a bunch of things. First, I bought diapers at Walmart for my friend/coworker, Kelly who had a sweet baby girl, Mariah, last Monday. I got to hold her again. O my gosh! Adorable!

Then I went to a church function for about half an hour at Jump Zone. It's a place full of inflatables. It was so crowded! I enjoyed seeing my church family for a while. Then some single/no kids married people went to Barleycorns for dinner. There were 11 of us. I did not know 8 of the others. It was a fun time to hang out and chill with some really fun people.

And that was my weekend. I don't have grades in the computer or lesson plans for the week, and our house is a wreck, but it was fun. I feel accomplished. Thanks for all the prayers that I would finish my portfolio in time. I have peace about it. What else could I ask for at this point?
