A Light at the End

My brother-in-law has been asking when there would be another blog update. I said, "Whenever there is something to write about." Honestly, that day is not here yet, but I'll post anyway.

Lately I have been working on completing my boards. 3 weeks until I'm mailing it in. It's not ready yet, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Brent went to a weather conference in Oklahoma this past week and is currently on his way to visit Jonath. I know they'll have a blast! We were joking around earlier about how I go on "fun trips" quite often, but I think this is his first. I hope they have a good time eating cheezy poofs and playing video games.

Lastly, here's a prayer request from one of the 5 year-olds I teach at church once a month after a lesson about God bringing Lazarus back to life. "I want to pray that God will bring Darth Mall back alive. You know, on Star Wars?"

Wow, Darth Vader. Hmm...If I understood all the questions the kids asked after our story on Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego going through the fire last week in Kids' Club, I'm sure I'd have one to match...give me time.

LOL! Darth Mall. Boys. I would like to think that J would not have a prayer request for that. But, you know, there is no telling.

He's in Washington DC right now. The house is eerily quiet.
