On Monday morning we got to hear the amazing sound of a heartbeat again. It took the doctor a while to find it, which was scary at first. But, oh, when he did... I'm in love already!
This whole thing is really starting to become more real to me through that unbelievable sound as well as the fact that I can't fit in my clothes anymore. My favorite thing is how I can feel the bump of the baby's body near my bellybutton before I get out of bed each morning. We're 16 weeks along. Crazy! Only 24 more until our August due date.
Next appointment: March 29.
Next ultrasound: sometime between April 5 and 19.

Brent & Melissa, We're so excited for the two of you. It's a shame we live so far apart or our babies could play together (and the parents too, right?). Anyhow, I love reading what's going on in your belly because it tells me what to look forward to in a few weeks.
