This weekend has been a HUGE reality check. Brent and I are really having a baby. On Friday afternoon I had my school shower. We got all of the big items we need for Baby Carney to come home. Items below include: diaper bag filled with goodies, bath center, diaper genie and accessories, high chair, changing pad and covers, bouncer, car seat, and stroller. I was seriously amazed at how generous all of my loving co-workers were.
This is my team! These ladies wonderful. I love working daily with each one of them. They have been an amazing source of support throughout the pregnancy by comforting and encouraging me.
Friday night, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday Brent and John (my father-in-law) put together the baby room. They took down old border backing, painted layers and layers of green, hung a ceiling fan, put together furniture and arranged the new closet. There are still a few things to hang on the wall and a window valance I'm trying to get, but you get the big picture. They did a great job! Here's the end result:

I am so happy for you :) You did get some great loot at your shower. And the baby's room is gorgeous! I'm looking forward to seeing the pics of Baby Carney inside it. ♥
