So you had a bad day?

Can a day get any worse?
-family conflict
-forgetting the umbrella and having to crawl over the back seat to the get the one out of the trunk while a kindergarten teacher watched
-a nose bleed during state testing
-evacuation of the school building due to a fire alarm in a thunderstorm during testing
-being stranded in the thunderstorm for 10 minutes
-having no change of clothes after being stranded
-trying to keep 22 soaking wet, loud, rambunctious children focused back on testing
-spilling orange yogurt on a pink shirt at lunch
-having to wear a too tight for pregnancy shirt with three lizards that says, "Pigeon Forge" (the lizards' tails wrapped around my belly and I could not read "Pigeon Forge" because of my belly)

But the day got better once I got home. I had ordered some new maternity pants from Kohl's online and they came. I have a shirt from my friend Michelle that matches perfectly. I get to look cute tomorrow!

Even though Wednesday was horrible, Thursday reminds me of a fresh start. Thank the Lord he knew we would have bad days and would give us "do overs" with each sunrise.

I find hope in Matthew 11:28, which states, "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
