I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm still 1 cm and 50% effaced. When I asked the doctor, "How much longer?" his response was, "Well, I've had patients where you are who were in labor the next day. I've also had others who went a week over and had to be induced. There's no way to tell."
Brent and I both have decided that right now God is teaching us patience and to trust His timing. Basically we could have a baby any time between now and August 27 (one week past August 20). So we'll sit back, try not to get too antsy, and wait as patiently as we can for a little miracle to arrive.

Try to enjoy your last few hours, or days, or (ugh!) weeks being pregnant-as uncomfortable as you might be. This time will fly and then you'll have a baby that will grow up too fast! Sit back and enjoy the ride-trust me, I know it is hard to do that but the end (rather, beginning) is in sight :)
I feel for you being sooooo pregnant in this heat. I shall be praying for you to have patience and comfort in the next couple of weeks!
Yep...patience...it's rough, but hang in there...Baby will be here before you know it! Then you will have a little bundle to snuggle, then watch, then chase down before you know it (I'm in the chasing stage :))....you're both in my thoughts & prayers!
