We can't believe that there are only 2.5 more weeks until our due date! Yesterday we went to the doctor and have definitely decided that Dr. Moore is our favorite in this practice. I'm praying that she is on call when we go into labor because she's just awesome!
At our appointment I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. She looked back at the ultrasound information and said that the baby is in the 62% for overall size, but the abdomen is in the 92% range. She also said that my amniotic fluid amount is in the 96%, which means that when my water breaks it's going to be a disastrous mess... no matter where it happens. Though that is a lot of fluid, it's actually a good thing because it means that the baby is getting good blood flow from the placenta, making it more healthy! We go back to the doctor again on Monday for another update.
The pictures below show the finishing touches on the nursery. Most were unplanned and just worked out, but until we have pictures of the baby, it's finished!

The pictures above came with the bedding. Hanging them added something to the room! |

The valance that came with the bedding was not available so my friend Becky's mom made this one. It is perfect! |

At my church shower these magnets came with one of the gifts. Aren't they the perfect addition? Plus they match everything! |
 |
Toys and a picture frame- all of which were given to us and match the decor perfectly! |

This is one of my favorite gifts that we got. It plays various types of music and the little animals are animated. Its to help the baby sleep and eventually will help put itself to sleep. I love it! |
