This year we were more thankful than ever because of our little bundle of joy. John and Mary Ann, Brent's parents, came up to spend time with me and Oliver while Brent worked the entire break. On Thursday we had an amazing dinner made by Mary Ann and yours truly: turkey, macaroni and cheese, veg-all casserole, cornbread, cranberry jello mold, and buttermilk pie. Yummy! Oliver took a nap during the meal and missed out on all the fixin's. The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing and enjoying one another.
Friday morning started early, around 3 am, when Mary Ann and I went shopping. I got a lot of presents bought and saved lots of money! We came home after Round 1 around 8:30 so John and Brent could have some father-son time at the gym working out together. After they got home it was time for Round 2 at the outlet mall. Everyone went this time, except for Brent. We had a great time finding deals, pushing the stroller through the crowds, and keeping warm. Oliver slept through most of the adventure, but was a happy baby when he was awake.
Saturday I put up the Christmas tree and other decorations then spent most of the day being lazy otherwise. It was nice to relax! Mary Ann was sick most of the day which left John and I having pizza for dinner.
Which leaves us with today. The Carney's left early this morning and Brent went to work, leaving Oliver and I here to catch our breath before the start of another work week. I only work 3 full weeks then it's CHRISTMAS!

Oliver and Brent have lots of fun together. |
 |
Guess who set up this little bit of action?
Hint: It wasn't me! |
 |
P-paw and Oliver love just hanging out together. |
 |
Oliver reminds me to smile multiple times every day. |
 |
Oliver loves staring at the lights and hitting the toys in his play gym. |
 |
He also loves it when other people play with him. |

Oh my goodness! Could your little boy get any cuter?!?! Uh, no! He's adorable. So glad to hear things are going well for our favorite Kentucky family. It is Kentucky, right? ;)
