Snow Day Excitement

This week I've been out of school for snow twice: Monday and today. There's a slight possibility for tomorrow, depending on how clear the roads get. In the mean time, Oliver and I have spent much of our day having fun!
One view of the snow from our back porch.

On Monday Brent continued educating Oliver in the world of technology.
Oliver is starting to get hungry after we feed him. Therefore we decided it's time to try some rice cereal this morning. There is video but I'm having trouble uploading it. I'll post it when I get it to work.
His first time in his high chair.
He's also holding his head up better each day. He's able to hold his body up with his hands for a little bit, but tires quickly. We're just excited that he'll go on his tummy without fussing for longer periods.

Oliver also has a trick he does with his pacifier and his thumb. I have video of this as well, but again, am having trouble getting it on here. Read the captions for details of the trick.
Here Oliver has the pacifier in his mouth as provided by his mom.
As you can tell, he's not too happy about it and is pulling on it with his hands.
Next, the paci is out! He's pretty happy about this...

Until he remembers about his thumb.
Though it drove me crazy for the longest time,
his thumb-sucking habit is pretty cute.
Plus he only does it when he's trying to go to sleep.
Finally is the baking. I finally finished the array I was working on for a few people around here for gifts. Isn't it beautiful? Plus they all taste good... not that I would know or anything...

So next on my agenda for being off is to clean our house. There's about a 50/50 chance in my opinion of us having school tomorrow. I'm honestly thinking it will be a delay. It's not supposed to snow anymore tonight. Even if I do have to work tomorrow, it's a fun day (sing-a-long, winter celebration, spelling bee, double specials) so I don't have a lot I have to do while I'm there except for enjoy my kids. However after tomorrow I'm off for two weeks. The first week has nothing going on. The second week, now that's a different story. Many more blogging adventures are to come in the next few weeks!
