Back at it...

Well, I was supposed to go back to school yesterday, but IT SNOWED! Yeah! During the past two weeks I was only home for a day and a half, so I was really glad to have a day to clean the apartment and take down the Christmas decorations. Now we are cleaned up and ready to go. I am also much more rested than I was yesterday morning.

This morning I find myself thinking about my New Year's resolutions. What do I want to do differently, or more purposefully, in 2008? Here are a few things:
  1. Consistently read the Bible and pray
  2. Only eat sweets once a week. (Brent and I did good at this for about 6 months last year)
  3. Exercise 3-4 times each week
  4. Stick to the budget
  5. Have good thoughts about people so that I can encourage them
  6. Be more intentional in relationships
  7. Replace negativity with positivity

There you go. Please ask me how they are going. I need to be kept accountable. I hope that you have goals for this fresh start. Feel free to share in the comments section of this post.

Also, read this for some encouragement on "Fresh Starts".

Ok, I am beyond jealous of your snow days. Yes, Yes, I know that I am still on vacation. But, there is something magical about a snow day.

Those are great resolutions. I remember how much you looked forward to your 'sweet date' with Brent last year.
