Tonight is like one of those nights I remember vividly as a child where we would stay up late on a school night banking on hopes of snow. They are saying that we are going to get 3-6 inches of snow (the amount depends on who you ask) with a layer of ice on top of it. Even the National Weather Service is saying 100% chance of precipitation.
In this case there will be no school tomorrow. Therefore I do not need to go to bed yet.
But there's always that chance that nothing happens. In such an instance I guess I will be really tired tomorrow. I have decided that I am not going to bed yet regardless.
Who ever said that kids are the only ones that hope for snow to get out of school? They were wrong! Teachers hope it more than them sometimes.
And hey, if I am lucky, maybe it will be bad enough that school can be cancelled on Wednesday too... Who knows!
If it does just so happen to snow and looks pretty enough I'll post some pictures tomorrow. One of my favorite things to do when it snows where it lays on the trees and ground nicely is to walk around it in with Wilson. He's just so little that he sinks in it. The sight of it makes me laugh, but he seems to enjoy it too!
So I will now go to see if school is cancelled yet. If not, I'll find something to do until I get tired! Good night!

Congrats, an early bday present? Love you! Oh, and BTW, I GOT MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT! I LOVE the books, thanks so much. And Ying loves the hiphop video, though we have to find a VHS player..forgot to mention that to you. Thanks, you're so thoughtful and sweet.
I remember those days fondly myself. And keeping the channel on the weather station (before internet, bless my little girl heart) watching with bated breath the drops in temperature. Ah, the good ole days....
