Valentine/Birthday/President Weekend and a few stories of Sue

I had an amazing weekend.

Valentine's Day:
  • I got a new sleeping bag from Brent (anyone want to camp any time soon?)
  • We tried out a new restaurant in Independence (a bust!)
  • Rented 3 movies and watched 2
My Birthday:
  • Went to church
  • Lunch at Olive Garden (Yum!)
  • My present was a massage and manicure
  • Watched movie #3
  • A few friends came over for Reese's Coldstone Cake
  • Amazing Race!
President's Day
  • I was off (Hooray!)
  • Typed for National Boards
  • Brent made an awesome lunch
  • Nap time!
  • Tutored Kat
  • Zumba
  • Graded papers
And here's two latest "Sue" stories...

1) Sue is beginning to develop a little in the breast area if you know what I mean. Well, this afternoon, after much deliberation, I had the "bra talk" with her. After deciding during a conversation (that would go WAY beyond the means of her privacy to type here) that she should start wearing a bra, my MALE parent volunteer came over to ask me a question and tell me he was leaving. While he was explaining (which I still have NO IDEA what he was saying...), I could barely hold myself from laughter...

Sue was staring right at my chest. We're not talking looking either. STARING! I was really glad when Mr. Volunteer left so that I could release my laughter.

2) This morning our Arts and Humanities teacher made Sue upset. She said, "I'd cuss at you if you weren't pregnant!"

Sounds like a perfectly wonderful couple of holidays!

Good thing the A&H teacher is pregnant, huh?

Yay for Amazing Race!
