My brother-in-law brought it to my attention that I have not given any Sue updates lately. Either I've not been paying attention or she's not so animated these days. Whatever the case, I have a story from today...

At recess, she came up to me and two other teachers asking, "When are we going in? I'm dying of dehydration." As I told her, "Soon," the other two teachers complimented her sparkly panda t-shirt, telling her it was nice. She said, "I'm wearing my Friday clothes."

The conversation continued into telling what classified into appropriate attire for each day of the week. Here's my attempt at the criteria:

• Friday and Saturday are for the nicest clothes... because most people go out
• Sunday and Monday are for comfortable clothes, like PJs... you only need to get dressed on Sunday for church and Monday is always a drab
• Tuesday is for a little nicer because you want to say, "Here I come, week!"
• Wednesday and Thursday are whatever help you get by

I was wearing a Tuesday shirt with Friday jeans, and summer shoes. Sara had on Friday shoes, but her other clothes were unacceptable for Friday. Katy was told that her long-sleeve t-shirt was Thursday because of the ruffles on the sleeves. Otherwise, she needed some fashion help.

None of the three of us were stylish enough to have on Friday clothes. How sad!
