90 degree camping & Our "nephew" Jack

As a final summer getaway, Brent and I went camping in Brown County, Indiana. It was beautiful there, but I don't think we'll go again any time soon when it's predicted to be 90 degrees for the high. We were sweating at night even with Brent having an ice pillow. We hiked, biked, and walked around Nashville, Indiana during our adventure. It was a wonderful time for us to relax and reconnect with one another.
Our camp site... even though it was hot we still "had" to have a fire. What is camping without a fire?
We went through lots of G2 during our hiking and biking adventures.
We were quite excited to go on some "Rugged" trails. I promise we went more than .75 miles- probably a total of 10 miles hiking and about 5 mountain biking.

This summer Brent and I have spent a lot of time with our friends the Gatewoods. Our "nephew" Jack was born in May and I have loved seeing him grow

Here Jack and Becky are playing. Right after this we were dancing and I held him up as he "walked." We have had so much fun!
And that's to a good summer! Friday was my first day back at work. The kids come on Wednesday.
