Yesterday we had our "first" doctor visit. Well, actually we just met with a nurse. She was very informative, but we felt like we'd already done this appointment once before at the other office. (I had to switch because my original doctor is no longer doing ob work, only gyn.) She gave us lots of pamphlets, told us about classes we could take later on, and warned us about various scary diseases the baby could have. We took her advice and pray for a healthy baby!
I did have to have 5 tubes of blood taken, which is never a happy thing for me. Have I mentioned I absolutely HATE needles? I know, I know. No lectures about how many needles are in my future are necessary. I'll get over it (or so they say...)
Next appointment: Tuesday, February 2.
It will be with an actual doctor and we should get to hear the heart beat!
