Snowy Birthday

We celebrated my birthday and Valentine's Day this weekend. On Friday night I went to dinner at Cheddar's and saw Valentine's Day with girls from church. I loved Valentine's Day- maybe worth a future DVD buy, which I don't do very often. Also, Brent gave me Couple's Retreat (which we think is hilarious!) for a gift. We watched it today during our "stuck inside day."

For my birthday we went to Bucca de Beppo for dinner then Yagoot for dinner with some friends on Saturday night. We had a great time! To further celebrate being 29, in early May we are going to see Cirque du Soleil. I have been wanting to see this show for a long time, so I cannot wait!

Today we got more snow. There was already about 5 inches on the ground from last week's influx, but today we got somewhere between 6 and 8 inches on top of it. In other words, we did not leave the house. Luckily it was President's Day so there was already no school. However, school has already been canceled for tomorrow. We're hoping to get out at least by mid-afternoon tomorrow. As Brent said, "We'd prefer the snow to a hurricane evacuation." I can't say I disagree!
