Pregnancy brings lots of strange things that happen to your body. Some of these I've heard and read about. Some of them "just happen" and make me question if I am normal or not. For instance, a growing belly is something I expected. Cravings, though I have not really had any that are too weird, also get included in on that list. (The only ones for me were Ramen and Mac & Cheese for breakfast back when I was nauseous.) However the constant rumbling in my tummy was not expected. Or the morning congestion.
Despite my expectations being met or exceeded, I feel blessed this morning thinking back on the past 4 1/2 months. Time is passing so quickly. In less than 2 weeks I will be half-way to meeting a baby with my own flesh and blood. Wow! I cannot help but think about Psalm 139 in this, "He created me in my mothers womb."
The Lord already knows what you look like, my child. He knows your personality, likes, and dislikes. His thoughts about your outnumber the grains of sand.
And your mother is right beside Him. I cannot wait to meet you!

I'm so with you, Melissa. I wonder if I'm weird, too! I also am right there with you about the incredible blessing of pregnancy and not being able to wait to meet this little one. :)
I LOVE your blogs recently. Love you!
