- I am 28 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby in my belly who is getting stronger every day as evidenced from the stronger and more frequent kicks and turns.
- I had a shower at my school yesterday where I got ALL of the large items (stroller, car seat, changing pad, diaper bag, high chair, and more!) needed to take care of the baby, plus other smaller items as well.
- Brent's parents are in town this weekend helping put together our nursery. This includes painting, fan hanging, closet installing, furniture installing, and decorating.
Somehow my heart and mind are moving from my normal, "ok, I'm having a baby" to believing it is really happening more and more each second. I've started my third trimester as of Thursday and everything still seems so surreal. Time is passing so quickly.
Mostly, I see again, the Lord provides. He's giving me peace about so many things from the baby's health to family relationships to material possessions to my worries about "being a good mother." He is taking care of me in so many ways. Already I am learning so much about life and love from just being pregnant. I cannot imagine what I'll be taught once the baby is actually here.

Well put, Melissa. HOW GREAT that ya'll got so much for your nursery. You're right... God DOES provide. Reading ya'lls blog gives me more of a peace because I can read to see what I get to "look forward to" since you're 4 weeks ahead of me. Keep up the good work and keep enjoying it.
