Can you believe it is only 3 more weeks until our due date?
Brent and I are getting quite excited.
The baby is moving around like crazy, especially when I eat cold stuff. Today we went to the doctor for our weekly checkup. He said that the baby is head down and has dropped already. He could actually feel the little head! I'm still measuring big, at 38 cm, but not as big since the baby dropped. We still have the ultrasound on Thursday, but he said that even if the baby is measuring big that they would only induce as early as 39 weeks (2 more weeks!). However he also said that if the baby tried to come naturally then they would not stop it from doing so from this point on. Because I'm still only 50% effaced and not dilated he said that was pretty unlikely to happen in the next week.
This is not all though! I got the valance for the nursery made today. It looks amazing! I'll get a picture after Brent hangs it. Also, this weekend John and Mary Ann are coming into town for maternity pictures. That will be fun too!
Let the countdown continue. Soon Baby Carney will be here!

Congratulations! There is nothing like waiting while in the home stretch - it's wonderful, scary, and amazing - kinda like being a parent.
