Crew: 1; Dynamo: 2

Tonight we celebrated Brent's Birthday by going to see the Columbus Crew play the Houston Dynamo at the Crew stadium. The stadium was pretty sweet! For those Houston fans out there I want you to know that it will be nice when the Dynamo get their own stadium. The game was great! The Dynamo won! Woo Hoo! However my beloved has decided that he was never devoted to the Dynamo (like he is to the Atlanta Braves in baseball) and may switch teams. (Shame on him!) The fans cheered, but the spirit was not there like with Dynamo. Below is a picture of the mascot and the stadium. Our seats were in the yellow section to the bottom left of the picture, 12 rows back. They were much better than what I anticipated because the seats are much closer to the field than at football stadiums.

Of course Brent had his bratwurst so all was good in the food area. However I wish we were under 18 and could have gotten the awesome Crew soccerball that they were handing out for free. (However it was nice for someone to think we were over 18 for once. Brent and I both were excited about that!) We did get awesome collector cups with the Crew emblem on them. Go yellow and black!
