Hooray! More interviews!

The interview went well last night. Apparently very well because I was called within half an hour of leaving for a second "long" interview for Friday morning at 8:00 am. The school seems like it is full of teachers who are also learners. I'm really excited.

This morning I also got a call from the principal at Kenton Elementary about an interview on Monday at 1:00 pm for a 4th or 5th grade position. I already told her I'm more interested in the 4th grade one. Over the past 4 years I have come to the conclusion that my personality is not conducive to the attitudes of 5th grade.

I feel so blessed that God is giving me opportunities to serve Him through my teaching. I know He has a plan and that He is opening doors in my career. I just pray for His plan to be obvious to me through this process.

Something else that is going on today is that Brent's car has decided to let the "check engine soon" light come on. He's gone to Auto Zone right now to get their free analysis. I'm praying for something small, especially with the expense we're encountering from my white cargo van experience.

Also going on in my life right now is upcoming visits with people. Tonight a college friend, Ernest, is coming to visit for the weekend. We're going to a Reds game tomorrow to see Great American Ballpark for the first time from the inside.

On Sunday night my girls are coming, Holly and Melanie. These are my two best friends! We have not had time just to chill together, really, since I moved to Texas three years ago. It will be so fun to have time to catch up before Mel leaves for Thailand at the end of August. We're all going through huge things in our life right now... mission trips, moving, finding jobs, and the list goes on. We need time to ask, "How are you really doing?" And I can't wait for it!
