I arrived safely at my grandparents' house in Florida today around noon. The flight was smooth as was getting the rental car (a white Cobalt) and navigating my way to their home without too much disorientation.
I spent most of my day catching up with my Uncle Bob, Memow, and Papaw. My grandfather spends most of his days mowing the grass in the trailor park. Uncle Bob tries not to get too bored with television and internet browsing as he awaits a good day to go swimming. Memow watches TV and reads western and romance novels. I am great time of relaxing and laying low, which is a nice breath of fresh air from my usual rushing around.
The clientel here is great! It's a bunch of mostly elderly people who all take care of each other. I love that part! How beautiful as a picture of how Christ wants us all to be for each other. Like my grandfather said earlier "if anyone gets hurt, we're all here to help out." What would our world be like if we learned this before retirement?

I am so thankful to hear that you arrived safe & sound. Thanks for checking in.
That is such a beautiful thought. One that I really wish more people learned before retirement. Just got some bad news so I'm not in a good frame of mind. :(
I am sorry to hear about your bad news as I have heard small amounts of the details. I am praying that those in charge of the situation will reevaluate and change their minds as the situation is very unfair.
Thanks, Melissa. We'll talk more in depth when you get home.
