Saturday ended up being a great day after all. Kelli and I drove up to the outlet mall, about an hour and fifteen minutes away, to shop till we dropped. The deals were descent, but nothing too spectacular. We ended up shopping from 1-6:30! It was great fun!
Yesterday Brent and I went to see "Dan In Real Life". I totally recommend this movie! It has the right touch of sadness, heartbreak, and in the end reminds you about what love is really all about. I know it sounds mushy, and might be a little, but I'm a hopeless romantic at heart and totally loved it. You could take the whole family because there is very little, if any, cursing and no sex. The soundtrack was great too! It's not as funny as hoped for, but I think that's what makes Steve Carrel a talented actor; he can do a variety of roles. If you want a great show about trying to understand family, watch "Dan In Real Life."
Today I have the beginning of Parent Conference Week. It'll be a late night tonight and Thursday. Then I also have early morning meetings 2-3 days this week. I'm just praying for rest so that I'm not totally burned out by the end of the week. And for my kids to be on their best behavior. I guess there's a chance of that since they know I'll be talking to their parents.
Now it's time to start the day. I'll drink my Vanilla Chai and be off into the wild school halls...
