I made it through 18 parent conferences that were broken up between Monday and Thursday nights. All went well. I learned a lot about my kids and myself as their teacher.
I made it through 2 early morning faculty meetings to disaggrigate testing data from last year.

I made it through five ADD kids. Two were not on their meds and the other three were in rare form where focusing was only optional to them.
I made it through another week of NOT making dinner for my husband. I keep teling myself that just because I don't make dinner I am not a bad wife, but myself keeps disagreeing.
And finally I made it through Halloween. We had "The Annual Parade of Books" at school. Everyone dressed up. My team was The Seven Dwarfs and Evil Witch without Snow White. (Snow White backed out at the last minute.) I was Bashful, the one to the far left on the back row. All of my kids dressed up, except two. As expected, they were wild and crazy all day long!
The best part of the week is the pumpkin that Brent and I carved together before my dance class on Tuesday night. We each designed a
different one of the pumpkins' features. Once it was carved, we decided, after noticing the bruises on the side, that it looked like it had gotten beaten and bruised by some bully. This made us laugh really hard, which was much needed. He was only lit up for one night, but served his purpose well.

Boo on Snow White!
Glad you survived your week.
Yourself needs to get over herself. Of course NOT cooking dinner doesn't make you a bad wife. Your hubby is full capable of making dinner for ya'll. When it's HIS busy time, then you can return the favor. I truly wouldn't worry about it another bit. This coming from a wife who hates to cook. ;)
