Here's a conversation some of my students had today in my classroom:
Student one: Today is Mrs. Carney's birthday!
Student two: (singing) Happy Birthday to you! Happy...
Student three: The birthday song is for kids. Not adults. Maybe we should sing something else to her.
Student four: (singing) Celebrate good times, come on! Na na na na...
