Love my Sundays!

Today Brent and I tried a different church. We're not sure about the one we're going to because the services are REALLY long (like an hour and a half with 45+ minutes of preaching) and we're not really connecting with anyone. So today we tried one of the places that we liked when we first moved here. We're just praying for somewhere that we can learn more about God, be in community with people other than just once a week at Bible study, and serve others in both the church and community. Updates will come later.

We ate lunch at Penn Station. If any of you come to visit, we must go there to eat. It's one of our favorites! Basically it's a sub shop, but everything is grilled. And their fries are fresh from the potatoes. Wonderful stuff!

When we came out from church more of the white stuff was falling from the sky. It did not amount to anything except for on the trees (thank goodness!) but looked really pretty. Anyway, the motivation we had for getting out and about today was quickly squashed in the dreariness. We did look at houses. Our intent is to move at the end of May or sometime in June. We're going to call a realtor in the next few weeks to get this show on the road. Again, more to come as I know more.

Tonight we watched Sleeping with the Enemy. Creepy! Luckily I just love Julia Roberts, so that was definitely a plus. Man, she had HUGE bangs and LONG hair! If you want a good suspense, this would be a good rental. Freaky, but good.

Another thing I spend much of the day doing was reading. This time I am reading Confessions of an Ugly Step-Sister. It is the story of Cinderella from the perspective of the eldest step-sister. Interesting. It's by the same author as Wicked. Interesting indeed. And it's a little more PG than Wicked was.

So there's my day. It was probably the best day as of late because this weather has worn me out! I love the snow, but this is rediculous. You'd think I live farther up north the way this goes. Good thing I'm only in Kentucky. Even though it's beautiful, I cannot imagine being in Colorado or Alaska in the winter. I think I would have WAY too much cabin fever.

So hopefully I'll be working tomorrow. Hopefully... it's looking very likely.

This is so funny because I remember seeing Sleeping with the Enemy at the theater! Hee!

I've been batting around the idea of reading Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister myself. Maybe I will now!

It was GREAT talking with you yesterday. I can't wait to see you. :) So, will you have school tomorrow?
