Tonight Brent surprised me by taking me to Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati to see The Wizard of Oz on the big screen and get ice cream at Graeters. We got a banana split with Buckeye Blitz (pb and chocolate) and Vanilla ice cream topped with strawberries and butterscotch. Yummy! It was so fun!
We got to sit in the square with tons of people from all lifestyles: homeless to fancy schmancy, toddlers to grandmas. My favorite thing was how even though everyone was at different places in their lives we were all able to sit there and enjoy something together without any stigmas.
One really neat moment was when we were going from the parking garage to the square in the elevator there were two couples that had dressed up to go to dinner who asked if we knew what was happening in the square. By this time I knew where we were going but had no idea what we were doing. Brent said, "I can tell you, but it's a surprise for her." All four of them yelled, "Don't tell!"
Brent gets an A+ for this date night!
(Cincinnati Trivia: The square where we sat tonight is featured on the opening credits to the 1970s show WKRP in Cincinnati! )

Romantic! Sweet! Fun! Kudos to Brent. :)
I would tell you that I used to watch WKRP back in the day. But that'll date me, so I won't. ;)
That's ok. I remember watching it with my dad when I was little. I think that was just reruns though. You mean that you watched it when it was new? Man, you are old! JUST KIDDING! You know I love ya!
What a fun date!!!
Um....I watched WKRP. I guess I'm old, too.
