Current Things to be Happy About

  • settling into a new school
  • possibly chilling with two of my new colleagues
  • depositing a paycheck when I'm not working
  • having an over-the-phone book chat
  • running
  • Slim-a-Bear ice cream sandwiches
  • a clean apartment
  • freshly washed towels that are still warm when you get out of the shower
  • hot dogs, corn on the cob, and baked beans for dinner
  • fireworks
  • cool weather in July
  • long distance phone conversations
  • not having to dial an area code for local calls
  • not going over our grocery budget for the week
  • bag boys at the grocery store
  • coupons
  • a turtle/nightlight/star gazer toy
  • baseball
  • apple pie
  • "Target Dates"
  • discovering how roads connect to each other
  • adding new contacts to my email address list
  • free cell phone minutes after 9:00
  • reading books for enjoyment
  • putting new music on my mp3 player (any advice on downloading from Walmart?)
  • new bank accounts
  • good smelling shampoo
  • gripping Brent's hand at "Live Free, Die Hard" during the action sequences
  • cold water after a long hike
  • PB&J
  • Free HBO on Demand movies
  • knowing you found all of the ticks
  • sun-dyed blond hair
  • the feeling of aloe on sunburned shoulders
  • the cuteness of someone wanting something at the store
  • "losing control" in order to have faith

I bet it's nice not having to dial an area code. I've forgotten what that's like. :) Very cool about the free HBO on Demand! Let us know if you go chilling! Things are starting to fall into place for you.
